Another delicious dinner from Eppes Essen. Picked up some pastrami and tongue sandwiches for dinner tonight. Just what we needed. Perfectly prepared. Great flavor. Got chopped liver for my dad. He rarely has it anymore. Said it was so creamy and delicious. Never a bad meal. Never regret spending money for great quality. And you get that here.

Eppes Essen is without a doubt, the most incredible Jewish deli I've ever had the pleasure of eating in, and ordering their eight cut sloppy Joe platters for parties is always a big hit. You really have to try it, you'll love it!!! Lorraine Minniti

Haven't been here in like 13 years. It's still as good as I remember. Portions are still big. They were always pricey and everything in the economy has gone up, so I understand. I missed it and it was very good, but not something I could go to all the time. Foods still great though!!

Very very authentic Jewish deli. Loved getting a pickle jar when we first sat down. Sandwiches are huge and expensive. Splitting a sandwich makes sense. The kasha was fantastic but the 16.99 for a side dish was not a fair price. We had some very, very slow service even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. While I did enjoy my meal we were at 70.00 for lunch with tip. Just letting you know.

Here's the deal. It's everything a great deli should be ! Yea it's expensive....sometimes you're just gonna pay for good stuff Helpful hint. Save some of the meat from their massive sandwiches and buy a sliced loaf of Rye at the counter and feed yourself for another 1-2 meals !!
